Bluebird - Pájaro azul

This tutu dress was inspired by Princess Florine in the dance of the Bluebird included in the Sleeping Beauty ballet. It's not the first tutu dress I manufactured for my dolls, but the first one good enough to be shared with you all.
The leotard is made of royal blue lycra and the tutu skirt is composed by two double layers one of cyan blue tulle and other of royal blue esparlin -I'm sorry I don't know how to call this fabric in english, but it's like an hybrid of tulle and gauze and shines a little bit. The armbands are made of tulle and esparlin as well. Silver sequins and a delicate silver thread embroidery ornate the front of the bodice and the skirt. The bodice is closed at the back. This pictures don't show the tiara I made to match this dress -only a light blue feather.

La princesa Florine, en su danza del Pájaro Azul incluida dentro del ballet La Bella Durmiente, me inspiró para hacer este tutú para mi muñeca. No es el primer vestido de ballet que hago, pero sí es el primero en ser lo suficientemente bueno como para mostrároslo.
La malla está hecha con lycra color azul real y la falda tutú está compuesta por dos capas dobles, una de tul color cian y la otra de esparlin azul real. Los adornos de los brazos están hechos con los mismos materiales que la falda. La parte frontal del cuerpo y la falda están adornados con lentejuelas plateadas y un sutil bordado en hilo plateado. El cuerpo se cierra por detrás. Estas fotos no muestran la tiara que hice a conjunto con el vestido, solamente se muestra una pluma azul claro como tocado.
